Selecting high quality moving boxes is as essential as selecting perfect movers.
Here are some factors to be considered whilst selecting moving boxes.

* Select strong and sturdy boxes with well sealed bottom.

* Size of the box should suit the items that are being packed in the box. For example, smaller and sturdy boxes should be used for items such as books and larger boxes for low weight items.

* Make a note of the weight limit of the box indicated on the bottom side. Never overload a box above its weight limit. It is recommended to load the box a couple of pounds less than the weight limit.

* To reduce the moving costs and to keep your moving environment friendly, it is recommended to purchase moving boxes made of recycled material.

* Purchase medium sized boxes. It would be difficult to lift large sized heavy weight boxes. Ideal weight limit to load moving boxes is fifty pounds.

* Use special dish packing boxes to pack items such as glasses, cups and wine bottles. This reduces the risk of damage whilst moving.

* If you are selecting used moving boxes, make sure that they are not damaged.
