Label Boxes Accordingly
Labels on boxes are the key to easy unpacking. You can categorize the boxes according to the room they belong to or be more specific with their contents. If you should do a by-room packing, use color codes to make it more organized. This allows your movers to determine which box belongs in which room.
Pack an Emergency Box
Essentials such as food, clothing and toiletries must be put on a separate box. This way, you won't have to poke around piles of boxes when you need something to eat or wear. Be sure each member of the family has an emergency box to ease the search.
