Things Your Real Estate Agent Won't Tell You
Published on Sunday, 03 January 2010
You think you know your real estate agents too well? What if you find out that there are things your real estate agent won't tell you? Will you take this as a positive or   negative sign?
Well, before you even panic about these things, see some facts on what your real estate agents won't tell you.
1. "We can speak about my fees later on". Do not expect your estate agent to say that his fees are negotiable. Usually, your perception is that he has a fixed price.
2. "I like open houses". Your real estate agent will suggest an open house for selling your properties. But, he will not make it seem look like an easy task. Even if he doesn't utter these words, well he really loves open houses. It's a real party for him because this is one of his ways to build a client base.
3. "A lot of people want to buy your property". Whilst some estate agents are transparent enough to say that there are a lot of people interested to buy your property, there are those who will not say how many people wants to view the property you are selling.
4. "I say bad things about you behind your back." There are estate agents who will surely want to establish themselves in the world of real property business. Well, they will not be able to achieve that unless they also work for other people.
Do not expect your real estate agents to be loyal to you most of the time. Since this is their bread and butter, you have to understand that they also have to build their own market to attract others to use their services. What you have to make sure of as you work with an agent is that he should be there to offer his services to you 100% - the same way he treats his other clients.
