Utilize Moving Boxes Once You've Settled In
Published on Sunday, 27 December 2009
What do you do with
your old moving boxes once you have moved into your new home? Apart from keeping them in stock till the next time you move, there are things that you can do to put them to good use. First, you can try selling them so you can get a little bit of money back
from your moving budget. Chances are, the boxes are on the expensive side and if you won't use them again you might as well sell it to someone who will. If you won't sell them, you can use them as storage - especially for items that will be left in the attic, the basement or garage and brought out in a seasonal manner.
If there are children in your home, you can use these boxes to create an imaginative play area for them. You could make a tunnel, which is well-loved by children especially during parties. Simply open the flaps of the boxes and tape them altogether into a really long tube. You could even turn this into a maze! And finally, these storage boxes can be used to insulate your attic or garage since the cardboard material also serves as great padding.
